Well this is the last blog post you will ever get at this link. We will be going live with a brand new website in the next two weeks and it will have the new and improved blog as the landing page! I will no longer have an exuse to not blog or up[date my website, it will be too easy to do. Anyway.... Holli worked for us last summer for a while before going off to bigger and better things, after she got pregnant she asked if I would be willing to do a cool maternity "growing" shot where I would photograph her every few weeks and make a composite at the end with the baby. I love a challange!
And of course we got some really cute shots of just Ian too.
Today Wendy and I got to photograph Cresta and Culley's wedding. I don't think that we have ever shot a "cowboy" wedding where the guys were allowed to wear their hats for pictures! We had a great time, I got to play outside with my studio lighting, the guys kept us laughing most of the day, and the nice tears came out (even her brother lost it durring his speech).
Leah brought the boys in for Owens one year session and to get a couple shots with the boys together. Thatcher, who generally hates being photographed, was all smiles while his brother screamed bloody murder. We got one really cute image of the two boys, and rescheduled Owen for later in the afternoon...after nap #2. When they returned both boys were great.
Aside from the standard "crabby baby" that we started out with we had a great session! My only wish was that we could have spent a few hours with them when Brylie was less than a week old so she would have slept better.
Yesterday we photographed Justice's first session. She is the first girl we have photographed since re-vamping our lighting and backgrounds, and I can't believe how much fun I had!! We still have time to get a few more models in, so call us right away to schedule your model sesison.
I guess thats what happens when I loose my motivation, but don't worry, it's back! I've been working on a ton of new things at the studio, new walls, new backgrounds, new lighting styles...and I've been shooting new things too! Here are just a few images that I have created since my last blog post, I'm sorry if I missed your images it's hard to keep track of what I have and haven't blogged when I don't do it at least once a week.
I have been shooting houses for realtors this winter too. I really enjoy it!
Kyle and Becky have also been coming to us for a long time. From the wedding, all of Corbins first year, and now Talia. She was a week old and not in the mood to to lay still. We decided to try again Saturday morning, and after a feeding, and listening to the vaccuum cleaner run for a half an hour we finally got her to sleep hard. It was a LOT of work and stress, but well worth it in the end, I can't wait to see their 20x24 wall portrait when it's done!
I photographed Dave and Kelly's wedding about a year and a half ago, and last week I had the opportunity to photograph their one year old son, OK maybe it was more than a year and a half, but not much. They just had a quicky session from my "scott's Bored" special, but we got some great images of a really cute little boy!
